One of the most famous landmarks in Bangkok is the Erawan Shrine. Recently, the shrine was destroyed by a mentally disturbed Thai man. The shrine is presently being rebuilt and in the meantime, pictures of the four-faced image have been put up on the shrine for the benefit of the thousands of devotees who come daily.
