Anuwat Methiwibunwut, the governor of Samut Prakan Province, third from left in this picture, leads other local dignitaries, carrying the sacred red cloth around Phra Samut Chedi three times in a clockwise direction. Then members of the Rungjaeng family wrapped the red cloth around the chedi which is now celebrating 180 years. This ceremony marks the start of the annual temple fair in Samut Prakan.
