"Christmas 2007: once a prosperous baby born out of a proud mother; today vegetating in a corner as a bit of trash under the eyes of the traffic-police cops in their booth at 30 meters distance. I am not a doctor but this poor fellow will die within weeks of being undernourished and might be some illnesses like tuberculoses with 3 hospitals nearby: Bangkok Christian Hospital, Queen Sirikit Institute of Medicine / Red Cross Society and Chulalongkorn Hospital, all just at the other side of the road!!! And what can I do? Only observe and publish his picture. What a tragedy!" - Toni/flickr
