Just outside the city of Kanchanaburi, east of Bangkok, there is a unique place that has been nicknamed the “Tiger Temple”. Here a group of monks look after tigers that have been abandoned in the wild. The temple is open to visitors who pay a donation to help towards building a better habitat for the tigers.
