Colourful hot air balloons wow locals and tourists in Chiang Mai. The show was part of a mass wedding ceremony for 14 couples in 14 hot air balloons, which also carried official marriage registrars. The event involved couples who had won competitions around the world. It was also aimed at advancing Thailand’s popularity as a theme wedding destination. (Bangkok Post/Thai Rath)
