Lao PDR President Visits Bangkok

The Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn and Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn went to Don Muang Airport today to greet Lieutenant General Choummaly Sayasone, the President of Lao People's Democratic Republic and his wife. The President is on an offical visit to Thailand from 12-14th May 2009. (Royal/Handout)

The President of the Lap PDR was present with the keys to the city of Bangkok by M.R.Sukhumbhand Paribatra, the Bangkok governor. The key is made of real gold and weighs 90 grams. The key has an image of Indra and the Erawan Elephant which is a symbol of Bangkok. (Royal/Handout)
