Thai policemen carry the body of a Thai soldier who was killed in an ambush by suspected separatist Muslim militants in Thailand's restive southern province of Narathiwat on October 6, 2010. Suspected separatist militants killed one soldier and three civilians in a series of attacks in Thailand's troubled deep south, security officials said Wednesday. More than 4,300 people, both civilians and security personnel, have been killed in the Muslim-majority region since a separatist insurgency erupted more than six years ago. (Getty Images)
