The first BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) route in Bangkok was opened on Saturday 29th May 2010 and runs from Sathorn Station (BTS Chong Nonsri) to Rajapruek Station. There are 25 buses and 12 stations on the 15 kilometre route. It is free from now until 31st August 2010. (Richard Barrow)
