King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the world longest reigning monarch, has been treated at Bangkok's Siriraj Hospital since September 19 for fever, lung infection and a loss of appetite. The 81-year-old king was in stable condition, the palace said on Thursday, adding it would no longer issue daily updates on his health but would make a statement if his condition deteriorates.
